Dr. Davis and his wife Roni are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of care. Ob/gyn physicians complete four years post-graduate training in clinical obstetrical and gynecological programs. Some ob/gyn physicians choose to specialize further in fields such as gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, or reproductive endocrinology. Our certified nurse midwives have extensive training in women's health and meet all of the highest education standards. Ob/gyns are certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Davis received his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1976 and his medical degree from Ohio State College of Medicine in 1980. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Akron General Medical Center in 1984. Dr. Davis is a board-certified specialist in the health care of women and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is currently an associate clinical professor at North East Ohio College of Medicine and is a past Chief of Obstetrics at Akron General Medical Center. Both Dr. Davis and his wife Roni, who is the certified Ob/Gyn nurse in the practice, strive to provide their patients with the highest quality obstetrical and gynecological care possible, in pleasant surroundings, with courtesy and understanding. In his leisure time Dr. Davis enjoys music, history, golf, physical fitness and computer technology.
Roni Davis, Dr. Davis' wife, has over 20 years experience in the field of Ob/Gyn and holds national certification in obstetrics nursing. She earned her nursing degree from the University of Akron in 1985. Roni is also the office manager. She is available during office hours to answer questions, provide education, or just listen. Her goal is to make your visit as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. Doctor and Mrs. Davis are currently the proud parents of five teenagers. When Roni has time she enjoys music, reading, sewing, gardening and physical fitness.
